Small package analysis and renegotiation of the agreement.

• Creation of RFP by reviewing and analyzing one year of data (420,000+ packages) across all modes.

• Analyzed initial proposals and produced a report for management detailing the cost savings, accessorial discounts, and areas for improvement for each carrier.

• Met with management to review the proposals from each carrier.  Advised management on the positives and negatives of each agreement and where there are areas of improvement.

Worldwide warehouse organization and visibility project

• Purchased material handling equipment (forklift, scissor lift) and installed racking in the warehouse to better utilize space.  Found 40,000 SF of space (100,000 SF building) that was able to be used for other operations that resulted in a $320,000 yearly savings

• Reviewed and recommended a new WMS system installed early 1/2016.

• Creation of a “sandbox” to use to train associates in 11/2015 – 12/2015 to allow for minimal downtime after system installed.

• Entry, photograph and locating of over 75,000 items in multiple facilities in 2016.

• Created SOPs to provide better service to departments on location.

• Negotiation of all warehouse and logistics agreements before submitting to Legal for final review.

• Partnered with internal departments to create a strategic calendar to improve the flow of goods for new productions that saved an average of $76,000 per film.

3PL Wine & Spirit Warehouse

September 2012 - February 2015

Create a new business venture in the 3PL wine and spirits warehouse market. 

• Creation of multiple Business plans to discuss with the owner to review various warehouse locations, the timing of ROI and value of labor pool in the area.

• Negotiated lease of building with Managing Director along with additional requirements in the contract for expansion and warehouse improvements before moving into the location.

• Worked with the city to obtain permits and payment of fees for installation of racking, secure area and chilling machinery along with city inspections for approval.

• Review, recommendation, and installation of WMS.

• Managed the purchase of Material handling equipment (turret trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, walkie riders, etc.), installation of wire guidance and labeling of all rack locations within the building.

• Led the set-up of the WMS along with the training of the management team.

• Assisted in the hiring of the warehouse employees and managed the training.

• Creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the warehouse operation.
